KPP Kamunting is located 3km from the Taiping Utara Exit at km200 of the North South Expressway. The main business of KPP is located at the heart of Kamunting Industrial Estate. This processing estate has three Asphalt Plants, one ready Mixed Concrete Plant, one emulsion plant, a Maintenance Centre, a future Research Centre and the Head Office. Totaling about 31 acres of land, It houses the largest producer of Asphalt in Malaysia. At Simpang Pulai, KPP has 2 asphalt premix Drum plants and a CBM plant.
